MISSION STATEMENT

Clapping Land promotes diverse
cultural expression through developmentally appropriate music and movement programs for young children.

Here you will find information on music and movement programs offered by musician and instructor Sophia Grigoriadis, as well as information about her award-winning compilation CD, Sound Adventures — Global Music for Children.

In all of her classes and on her CD, Sophia shares her passion for sounds from around the world, guiding young children, from newborns to 5–year–olds, together with their families, on an exciting musical journey that features rhythms, instruments, textures, and fun movement activities.

Families get to enjoy a musical experience that combines dance, song and instruments, giving children a sense of place and connectedness both within the class group, as well as to their community at large and the world beyond.
